Cookie Policy

Current position

GENR8 currently uses cookies and similar browser storage only for authentication, security, user-requested features, and local preferences. We do not currently use advertising cookies or optional behavioural analytics cookies. Sentry diagnostic monitoring is enabled in production with session replay disabled; GENR8 does not use a Sentry cookie for advertising or cross-site profiling.

Technologies in use

Supabase authentication storage

Strictly necessary

Provider: Supabase / GENR8
Purpose: Keeps a user securely signed in, refreshes authentication, and protects account-only requests.
Duration: Session and limited persistent authentication periods determined by session configuration.

Google Identity storage

Requested authentication service

Provider: Google
Purpose: Completes Google sign-in only when that sign-in method is requested. Google may read or set its own identity-related storage.
Duration: Controlled by Google and the user's Google/browser settings.

GENR8 local feature state

Functional storage

Provider: GENR8
Purpose: Remembers requested interface state, dismissed notices, game/practice progress, and similar on-device preferences.
Duration: Session-only or persistent until the feature resets, the account/device state changes, or the user clears site data.

Consent and controls

Storage strictly necessary to provide a requested login or feature is used without an optional-cookie consent banner. If GENR8 introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar tracking, it will be disabled by default until an equally accessible accept/reject choice is provided. You can clear or block site data in your browser, but blocking authentication storage will prevent account sign-in.
